Batumi beaches, (Batumi, Georgia) - location, description, opening hours, entertainment and infrastructure. Useful tips and practical information from the "Subtleties of Tourism".

Batumi is an ideal resort: sunny, hospitable, with picturesque nature, delicious cuisine and developed infrastructure. It is not for nothing that Georgians themselves, and the inhabitants of the post-Soviet space, and wealthy Europeans, accustomed to impersonal impeccable service, but longing for a warm, sincere welcome, come here.

Almost all Batumi beaches are pebbly, well-groomed and well-maintained. The largest and most popular is the municipal Batumi Beach, located right in the center of the city. A very motley audience gathers here: families with children, teenagers, athletes, party-goers - everyone has both company and activities to their liking. Fortunately, there is enough space: on a spacious strip 30-50 m wide, stretching 7 km along the Black Sea, there are practically no crowds.

The cost of renting umbrellas and sunbeds is 2-4 GEL per day. Use of a shower - 1 GEL, a changing room - 0.50 GEL. The prices on the page are for November 2018.

Batumi Beach is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay: toilets, showers, changing cabins, beach equipment rental points, first-aid posts. It is located far from the highway, surrounded by spreading palms and bike paths, so you should not be afraid of noise and dust. Along the coastline there are cafes and restaurants, the prices of which are almost the same as in the city, but obsessive hawkers of food are not allowed on the beach.

The coast is carefully cleaned: there is no garbage either on land or in the sea. The water is warm and surprisingly clear (in the area of Novy Boulevard it is a little more muddy), the bottom is gentle and safe - expanse for little bathers. Active recreation adherents are pleased with water skiing, "bananas", catamarans, parachutes, a water park and other entertainment. And for connoisseurs of solitude, it is better to walk to the end of the embankment, to the Primorsky Park: on the large, sun-heated stones, you can sunbathe in peace and quiet.

In the evenings, Batumi Beach turns into one big dance floor: the best DJs of the world play in the clubs "Sector 26", "Mandarin", "Iveria" and other fashionable places.

Cape Verde and Gonio

Cape Verde is a picturesque beach far from the center, in the vicinity of the famous botanical garden. It is more convenient to get here by minibus from the Boni market, and further along the paved path to the left of the entrance to the garden. The beach is small, not crowded and very cozy, filled with aromas of exotic flowers and inviting with the purest emerald green water.

In summer, there is a shop, a restaurant, rental of umbrellas and sun loungers on the coast.

You can also take a break from the noise of the capital in the ancient village of Gonio, which is 15 km from Batumi. People come here to enjoy the charm of a Georgian village, listen to the silence, wander through the ruins of the ancient Gonio-Apsaros fortress, Roman baths, a theater and a hippodrome. And, of course, soak up the beach - not as developed as Batumi Beach, covered with rather large pebbles, but very beautiful and clean.

The resort village of Sarpi is divided in half by the state border, and if there is nothing special to do on the Turkish side, then on the Georgian side there is a delightful pebble beach. It is surrounded by majestic rocks, one of them rises right above the sea - brave daredevils dive from it into the water, which, by the way, is recognized as the cleanest on the entire Georgian coast. The infrastructure in the village is developed: there are shops, cafes, ATMs, rental points (umbrellas and sun beds for 2-3 GEL per day), several decent hotels and guest houses, but fans of noisy entertainment and hectic nightlife will be boring.

Kvariati and Ureki

Kvariati is one of the best seaside resorts in Adjara, and there are several reasons for this. The first is a wide selection of accommodation along the coast and on the hillsides: there are also high-rise hotels, somewhat reminiscent of Turkish ones, and neat inexpensive guesthouses. The second is the only diving center in Georgia where you can undergo training, get a certificate and dive to your satisfaction with sunken ships and other underwater beauties. The third is a variety of entertainment: vacationers ride scooters, catamarans, "bananas", go in for parasailing - in general, they have a great time.

The most picturesque and uncrowded part of the Kvariati beach is the southern part: swimming is not very convenient, but nothing distracts from relaxation and contemplation.

Ureki is the only sandy beach on the Georgian coast, and even that one is unusual: the sand here is not usually golden, but dark. All because of the high content of magnetite: thanks to the low-intensity magnetic radiation, relaxation at the spa is both a pleasure and a healthy procedure. Magnetite sands relieve the symptoms of polyarthritis, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, help to recover from injuries and forget about stress. The effect is strengthened by the purest air saturated with ions - pines and eucalyptus trees grow everywhere. And Ureki is also an ideal place for families with children: crystal sea, smooth descent into the water, soft sandy bottom and an abundance of playgrounds - everything you need for an unforgettable vacation.

For our site, she told about all the features of the trip: the pros and cons of choosing this Georgian resort, where is it better to stay with children, what are the beaches, where you can eat deliciously, inexpensively and, most importantly, safely in Batumi.

Important!If you have already been to Abkhazia and you have the appropriate seals in your passports, you may have problems entering Georgia, up to and including refusal to enter!

If you have not yet been to Abkhazia, but are going to - take Russian passports there (they are not stamped) and read our and.

A trip to Georgia has become a tradition for us, we have visited many cities in this country and each of them is good. However, based on experience, for the third year in a row we have chosen Batumi for recreation.

At first, they did not want to let us into Georgia, since one of the group members had traveled to Abkhazia before. But due to the fact that the trip took place a long time ago, we still got on vacation. If you have been to Abkhazia before your trip to Georgia, problems may arise, consider this.

So why exactly Batumi, and not Tbilisi, Ureki or Kobuleti? I can highlight several points why we are returning to this particular place:

  1. Clean sea... In comparison with Tbilisi, the difference is very noticeable. Batumi has much more clean, sea-friendly places. Of course, in Gonio or Kvariati the beaches are better, but there is little entertainment besides the sea.
  2. Relatively reasonable prices... Again, I compare it with the capital, where the cost of housing, food in the market and the average bill in a restaurant are much higher.
  3. There are no crowds of tourists during the low season... In Georgia, in principle, there are no visitors at all, when compared with Turkey and other resort countries.
  4. Infrastructure development... In Batumi, transport traffic is very well established, there are many food markets and restaurants. There is where to walk and have fun.

Rest becomes many times more comfortable if you rent a car, in Georgia there are no problems with this. If you have your own transport, it becomes much easier to travel to remote beaches and move around with children.
A day car rental costs about $ 40. We took a jeep, the daily rent of which cost $ 60. It is much more profitable to rent a car for a week or more, then the daily rental amount can drop to $ 30. We booked a car.

They treat children very well in Georgia. The kids are constantly being treated to something, squeezed and trying to pamper in every possible way. Georgian men are especially in awe of children. Do not worry if your child is approached and presented with some kind of tasty treat.

All prices in the article are given in lari, for June 2018 1 lari - 25 rubles.
It is better to go to Georgia with euros / dollars and exchange them for lari on the spot. There are a lot of exchangers in Batumi: at the airport, banks and ordinary exchangers-stalls. Before you change money, you should look at the rates in different exchangers, the difference in the rate can be high (when exchanging $ 100, you can lose up to 30 GEL). You should not change money in exchange offices, where the difference between the buying and selling rates is large (20-30 tetri).

Housing options

Batumi has a huge number of rented apartments, hotels and boarding houses. In the city, you can rent a house for every budget and taste.

Immediately advice: book accommodation in advance, especially when you are traveling with children. If you do not deal with this issue before the trip, then upon arrival in Batumi you may have to spend several hours looking for a suitable place. And if your vacation falls during the high season, when the largest number of tourists arrive, finding accommodation will be even more difficult.

The most ideal accommodation option in Batum is renting an apartment or rooms in a guest house. You can rent housing in old or new Batumi. At the same time, keep in mind that in the old city there are no apartments directly by the sea.

The option of renting a house or a room from local residents is good not only because it is the most economical. Georgians will surely surround you with attention, they will tell you everything and can even conduct a city tour for free.

In Batumi, you can stay in a hotel. There are really good hotels in the city with comfortable rooms, but their rent is simply prohibitively expensive. Regardless of whether you are staying at a hotel or renting accommodation from a private owner, choose an apartment within walking distance of shops and beaches.

Nutrition

If during your vacation in Georgia you rent accommodation in the private sector or in a guest house, you will have the opportunity to cook your own food. We did just that. They bought food in the market, they were in Batumi 2.

Markets

The first is the Parekha market (aka the central bazaar). The market is located on Mayakovsky Street and is open all days except Monday from 8:00 to 16:00. You can get to it by minibus (24, 45, 46 and 1, 4 from the side of Mayakovsky street) or by bus (2, 10,17 from Gogebashvili).

At the central bazaar, you can buy everything from vegetables and fruits to meat and fish. Food prices at the time of our stay were as follows:

  • tomatoes and cucumbers (kg) - up to 2.5 GEL;
  • smoked mackerel - 3 lari apiece;
  • whole chicken - 13 GEL;
  • eggplant (kg) - 2 GEL;
  • cherries / strawberries (kg) - up to 10 GEL.

In general, prices are approximately the same as in Russia. In some cases, the cost of vegetables and fruits is even much lower. By the way, on the second floor of the Parekha bazaar you can buy local churchkhela, marshmallow, honey and nuts.

The second market that I would like to highlight is the fish market. It is located on the outskirts of Batumi and works from 9:00 to 21:00. The market itself is quite small, but it sells a variety of fresh and smoked fish.

Prices at the fish market:

  • sturgeon - 25 GEL;
  • salmon - 30 GEL;
  • mullet - 10 GEL;
  • dorado - 22 GEL;
  • trout - 9 GEL;
  • flounder - 21 GEL;
  • needle fish - 30 GEL.

You can also buy crayfish at the fish market. We took fish from this place several times and I want to say that it is very fresh there. The sellers are friendly, they all talk about the product and even give advice on how to cook the fish best.

There are no more stationary large markets in Batumi. At the same time, there are separate small points where you can buy fruits or vegetables. In such places, prices may not be the same as in the bazaar.

Supermarkets

Sometimes, when we didn't want to wake up early in the morning and go to the market, we bought food in supermarkets. Of all the supermarkets in Batumi, we liked the following:

  • GoodWill. Located on Chavchavadze street, near the lower station of the cable car.
  • Batumi Mall. Located at 88 Zurab Gorgiladze.

  • Yalcin Market. There are 3 such shops in Batumi. Their addresses are: Yalcin, 57/68 H. Abashidze St, 128 Vakhtang Gorgasali St, 2 Inasaridze St.
  • Willmart It is located on Inasaridze street, 14. The second supermarket is located near the intersection of Gorgiladze and Takaishvili.
  • Nugeshi. Supermarkets are located on Tbilisi Square and on st. Tavdadebuli, 16.

The assortment in supermarkets is approximately the same. There you can buy frozen fish, sweets, bread, alcohol, household chemicals and more. GoodWill supermarket and Batumi Mall turned out to be the best among all of the above. Upon arrival in Batumi, we globally bought up in Goodwill and spent about the same amount of money as we would have spent on the market.

Restaurants and cafes

Of course, opinions about food can be quite subjective. But there are several places in Batumi that are worth your attention:

  • Tavaduri. Average prices, tasty food, but the room can be smoky.

  • Ajarian House. Cozy place serving classic Adjarian cuisine. Here we ordered soups, meat and achma for children.
  • Tower. An interesting tower-restaurant where you can taste dishes from different cuisines of the world.

The average check per person in Georgian cafes is usually no more than 25 lari. With this money, you can eat soup, khachapuri and take some kind of drink.

By the way, most Georgian restaurants and cafes have terminals that accept Mastercard and Visa cards. The calculation takes place at the current rate in your bank, and no commissions are charged. So, if possible, it is better to pay by card and do not waste cash.

Beaches in Batumi

All beaches in Batumi are pebbly, but the stones on them are quite small. It is comfortable for children to walk along the shore without shoes.

The beach season in Georgia lasts from June to September. We went in September, at which time most of the tourists are already leaving. Even in September, the water temperature is about 25 degrees, so swimming in the sea was also comfortable for children.

Choosing a good and clean beach in Batumi itself is a little difficult. Swimming on the beaches near the port is not recommended, since oil spills often float on the surface of the water. Also do not swim on the beaches near the dolphinarium and residential buildings, because all the sewage and waste water from there enters the water.

The cleanest beach in Batumi is located next to the Alphabet Tower and the Ferris Wheel (Miracles Park). The water is very clear and this beach is rarely crowded with tourists. In terms of transparency, the water is not inferior to places outside the city.

If you have the opportunity to get to the beach outside Batumi, then you should definitely visit:

  • Sarpi.
  • Gonio.
  • Kvariati.

  • Tsikhisdziri.
  • Grigoleti.
  • Ureki (there are sandy beaches).

To the north of Batumi, near the Botanical Garden or Cape Verde, there are also clean and picturesque beaches. Getting to the beaches in the vicinity is not long. The trip by minibus usually takes no more than 20 minutes. And if you have a car, then even less.

Leisure and places worth seeing

In your free from the beach holiday, you can take time to walk around Batumi, because it really has something to see.

Batumi is a big city, so it's definitely not possible to walk around it completely in a day. However, I would like to highlight a few places that are recommended to visit for every tourist:

  • Piazza... There are many cozy cafes, entertainment and shops.
  • Cable car... This is a great way to see Batumi from a height, the children really liked the walk.

  • Miracle park... Quite minimalistic amusement park when compared to ours. From local attractions, we liked the Alphabet Tower and the Ferris wheel.
  • Port... We were in an abandoned port where some abandoned ships are stationed.

  • Seaside park... This is a place where many locals and tourists go in the evening. For children in the seaside park there is plenty of space: trampolines, animators, attractions and snacks.

  • Dolphinarium... The show is very interesting and exciting, but it is better to book tickets in advance. In the water park they ordered a bathing service with dolphins for children.

  • Zoo Batumi... Quite a small zoo corner, located next to the dolphinarium. You can go to the free sector (there are zebras, kangaroos, ponies) or paid (there you can see birds and primates).

  • Botanical Garden... Our young naturalists were delighted with this place and the views that open from it. But children of only 7 and 10 years old went with us on a trip to the Botanical Garden. For very young children, such a journey can be very difficult.

We visited every location, but especially the children were delighted with the zoo, dolphinarium and seaside park. Our little travelers are very fond of walks, so we walked around almost all of Batumi. There are a lot of interesting monuments in the city, with which the children took pictures with pleasure. A mini-performance for them was the course of the sculptures of Ali and Nino (they are located on the seaside boulevard).

If you have not yet chosen where you will live and want to save money when booking, we recommend using the RoomGuru service. Firstly, there are hotels, apartments and guesthouses from many different booking systems, and you will not miss a worthwhile option. Secondly, you can immediately compare prices for one place in different services and book where it is cheaper (this is not always Booking!).

About a beach vacation in Georgia and about which city to choose for your trip to the sea.

What is the sea in Georgia?

In Georgia, the Black Sea. The length of the coast is about 110 km, and all these are beaches, mostly pebbly, but you can also find sandy ones.

When is the best time to go to the sea in Georgia?

You can swim in the sea in Georgia from May to September.

But in May, the water is quite invigorating, and the temperature is comfortable from mid-June.

But in general, this is a rather subjective question, in Montenegro we swam in rather cool water, and we liked everything. But after Thailand, I want it warmer)

High season on the coast is from June to September. Indeed, a lot of people become in July and August.

At this time, prices for housing, food are increasing, portions in restaurants are decreasing) But clubs, summer cafes and the entire tourist infrastructure are working at full capacity.

But to be honest, I would not recommend going to Batumi during these months. Beach holidays in Georgia in June and September will be much more comfortable, interesting and cheaper. The sea is warm, you can swim, there are not many vacationers, all the establishments are still working.

Rains happen at any time of the year, no matter how hard travel agents and guidebooks try to convince you of the opposite)

But from June to September there are really fewer of them. The rainiest months are from November to March.

Sandy beaches of Georgia

Sandy beaches in Georgia can be found in the village of Ureki (Magnetiti) - this is perhaps the most famous place for its magnetic sands. During the season, the beach is densely covered with tourists.

Wilder, quieter places are the villages of Shekvetili (not far from Kobuleti) and Grigoleti (located further than Ureki). People who prefer a calm and secluded vacation, away from all the hustle and bustle, come here.

Few come here, but as a rule, those who have visited remain delighted and return repeatedly.

The rest of the beaches in Batumi and the surrounding area are pebbly. Somewhere the stones are large, somewhere smaller.

In this regard, I really like the beach in Kobuleti - there are small pebbles with an admixture of sand. Nice to go into the sea and the water is clear enough.

Where is the cleanest sea in Georgia?

  • The cleanest sea is in the vicinity of Gonio, Sarpi and Kvariati. If you do not come during the high season, this is not so important, in September it is quite pleasant to swim in the center of Batumi. But in August, the difference is colossal - how dirty and muddy the water is in Batumi, just as transparent and turquoise in Kvariarty. These places are located south of Batumi, in the summer there are enough cafes and housing where you can stay. There are minibuses and buses to Batumi, it takes 20-30 minutes to go.

  • The clear sea is also in the area of the Botanical Garden - Cape Verde. This is also not very far from Batumi, it takes 20-30 minutes to drive, housing is rented, in summer there is a minimum infrastructure for recreation.
  • It is also clear on the wild beaches in Tsikhisdziri and Mtsvane-Kontskhi. Not sure if I can stay there, these are very secluded places.
  • A spacious beach with clean water and infrastructure is in Kobuleti. Even in the high season there are a lot of places and I really like the atmosphere.

  • In Batumi, the sea is also suitable for swimming, but dirtier than other places on the coast. This does not prevent thousands of tourists from swimming here, and in fact, because of these thousands of tourists, the sea becomes so dirty) In August, we generally tried not to swim in Batumi, but from the beginning of September the water was noticeably clearer every day.

  • In Makhinjauri, the sea is about the same as in Batumi. This place is suitable for those who want to live away from the center and enjoy all the advantages of the city, and those who want to save money on housing.

  • Clean enough in Chakvi, but definitely not the best place to stay.
  • Shekvetili is a village for lovers of silence. There are sandy beaches with the same black sand as in Ureki and pine forest on the shore.
  • In Ureki, the water is muddy due to the sandy bottom. In the high season there are a lot of people and dirty, in the low season - beauty, purity and grace)

What place to choose for a vacation in Georgia on the Sea?

Which is better, Batumi, Ureki or Kobuleti?

I always get lost in front of such questions, but I will try to describe how the resorts differ from each other.

The largest city in Georgia on the Black Sea coast is Batumi. If you want to combine a beach holiday with the usual city life, developed infrastructure and entertainment, this is definitely the best choice.

There is something to do here, many attractions, and if the beach still does not suit you, you can easily drive to neighboring villages and swim there. At the same time, do not be tormented by the question of what to do in the evening.

Ureki is not a city, but a village or even a village 50 km from Batumi. It is famous for its beach with black magnetic sands, which is why there are a lot of holidaymakers in summer. There is a minimal infrastructure, but in my opinion, there is nothing interesting in the village except the beach itself.

There is not much to do in Ureki, and getting to other places of Adjara will be problematic if you do not have your own transport, as it is located quite remotely.

And you know, black sand can be found in Shekvetili, only it is not so far from Batumi and there are much fewer people there.

Kobuleti is a village or small town located about 25 km from Batumi. There is a pebble beach here, but the pebbles are smaller and nicer than in Batumi.

In summer, there are a lot of people, and traffic jams fill the town. But there is still a place on the beach.

There is a cool Tsitsinatela amusement park in the vicinity, which I can wholeheartedly recommend to both children and adults. And in the same place there is a miniature park where you can see small copies of many famous Georgian sights.

In Gonio, Kvariati and Sarpi, it makes sense to go during the high season. During this period, there are markets, cafes, and a lot of housing for every taste. But in the off-season everything is closed there and there is simply nothing to do, it is better to stay in Batumi.

Where is the best place to relax with children?

  • As practice shows, children like pebble beaches no less than sandy ones. It is more difficult to move on them, but this is also not a problem - since slippers for entering the water are sold everywhere.
  • In Kobuleti there are places for walking and entertainment for children.
  • In Ureki, in the high season, there are some entertainments for children, but in my opinion, it is better to set aside 1 day and go there than to plan the whole holiday in the village.
  • In high season, it makes sense to stay in Gonio and Kvariati.
  • Most interesting places where you can take your children are in Batumi. And this is the place I can call the most convenient for recreation for both children and adults. Well, seeing other beaches is also not a problem, you can take or go on an excursion. You can also order

How to independently plan your vacation in Batumi

If you do not have an accompanying guide or friend in Batumi and you decide on an independent trip "savage", here are some tips that will make your stay more comfortable.

On the first day, visit the tourist information center, in Batumi there are 2 of them, one near the cable car in the port area, the second one at the entrance to the Old Boulevard. In the information center, you can take a Georgian phone number for free in order to communicate with locals and friends who are vacationing with you at pleasant rates. You can replenish the card in Paybox, it is issued with 0 balance on the account, there you can also purchase a BatumiVelo card and move further around the city on bicycles - it is fast, convenient and fun. Parking lots, as well as bike paths, by the way, are everywhere in the central part of the city. The card can be bought for 1, 10 days and even a year.

Places where you can have a delicious lunch and taste dishes of the national Georgian cuisine

I warn you right away - the service in all restaurants in Batumi is unhurried. You just need to accept it and not be nervous. After all, you are at sea, relax and have fun. We definitely need to learn this from the Georgians.

    Shemoikhede Genatsvale is the perfect place to dine. Restaurant nat. Kitchens.

    Porto Franco is the best oven khachapuri.

    Piazza Square is a must-see place to go and have a coffee in the evening.

    Best pastry shop Marche

    restaurant "Bereg" in the port area,

    sanRemo restaurant on the pier in the Dolphinarium area

The cleanest beach in Batumi

The cleanest beach in Batumi is located near the Alphabet Tower. Yes, yes, when I was first told about this, I was also surprised, because the port is very close. But practice has shown that this is how it is, apparently the case is in the course, well, or something else. In general, all Batumi people prefer to go to the beach in Kvariati or Sarpi, where the cleanest sea is. True, a road is being built in Sarpi now, so Kvariati remains, the place is cool - you won't regret it. You can get there by minibus, which departs from the cable car. It costs 1, 5 lari. Basically, you can stay there if you are a fan of the beach and not a party person. There are decent hotels in these villages, otherwise the tourist infrastructure is significantly inferior to Batumi.

  • Dolphinarium. Very positive. 3 performances a day: at 14, 17, 21.00. A little dolphin was born in the dolphinarium and during the whole show he swims with his tail after his mother. Cute. Also, in Batumi it is not expensive to swim with dolphins - a lot of pleasure!
  • Walk along the boulevard. Be sure to do this early in the morning, there are practically no people at 7-8 hours, well, in the evening with lighting. Start your walk from the statue of Ali and Nino at the very beginning of the boulevard from the Ferris wheel.
  • Botanical Garden. You can go for the whole day, taking your swimwear with you, there are clean beaches in Cape Verde.
  • I wrote about Sarpi and Kvariati. By the way, there is a customs terminal and a Russian-Turkish border in Sarpi, if you wish, you can walk to Turkey to the Istanbul bazaar. Shopping is stupid, rather just entertainment.
  • Well, you need to go to Makhuntseti. In this village there is the largest waterfall of Adjara, 36 meters and an arched bridge from the time of Queen Tamar, on the way back you can stop for dinner at the Adjarian wine house and buy a bottle of Chkhaveri, a rose wine unique for Georgia. No more than 5,000 bottles are produced per year, by the way, each of them has a serial number.
  • Ferris wheel - 3 GEL. The "trip" time is approximately 10 minutes. I recommend sunset time. Sooooo beautiful.
  • Cable car - 5 GEL
  • Travel time is 10-15 minutes. An excellent view of Batumi opens from the observation deck. There is also a wonderful cafe with the best latte. Be sure to dine there. The service, the interior and the terrace are wonderful. Only the queues are frustrating, so it's up to you to go or not.
  • Boat trip - 10 GEL

Products in supermarkets

  • TM Sante milk "nontrivial zberigannya" in a plastic bottle 1L - 3.60.
  • Those who drew attention to the dollar-lari exchange rate at the beginning of the article must have just said to themselves, or even out loud, something like "Nichrome to myself, a liter of shelf is 25 UAH." Yes, my friends, as it is.
  • By the way, all the rest of the milk in the "tetra pack"
  • Frozen chicken fillet 1 kg - 9-12 GEL depending on the manufacturer
  • Capers by weight 1 kg - 28 GEL
  • Canned tuna pieces in own juice TM Aquamarine made in Ukraine;) - 3 GEL
  • Jubilee cookies, 425 g package - 3 GEL

Cookies - 55 tetri

Products on the market

Jonjoli, 1 kg - 6 GEL

Chestnuts - 2-3 GEL per 1 kg

An excellent alternative to boring seeds and nuts.

Boiled, they are great. And they can also be fried, always covered, or baked.

Exchange rate and exchange

Better to change in exchange offices around the city.

There are a lot of them and work until late at night. The course is almost the same everywhere

Travel

Municipal transport, bus - 40 tetri

Note that by default you are sold two tickets at once, that is, you need to pay 80 tetri to the driver.

You buy tickets from the driver and then punch them using electronic punching machines. I recommend doing this - the controllers come in regularly and are lenient only towards women with children :)

Taxi

The average price in the city within 10 km is 5-7 GEL per trip.

There are a lot of taxi drivers, but there are many questions for them ...

I wish you a good rest!
